We are the trusted partner of general contractors, M&E contractors, specifiers, panels builders…, to guarantee to our end-users’ customers (Colocation, Hyperscalers, IT departments…) the success of the commissioning of their datacenters’ projects. We rent high quality products with a huge set off additional services (connected products, data reporting, commissioning support, installation/deinstallation…).

The company headquarter is in France however Rentaload has as well its own subsidiaries in Germany and UK, and several partnerships across all Europe. Last year the company opened a new subsidiary in USA.

Job summary

Commercial role responsible for generating profitable business for the company focusing on the UK and Irish market:

– Customer relations, from prospecting for new customers and markets to recording purchase orders

o Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and consolidate its presence.
o Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel on assigned customer accounts.
o Preparation, submission and negotiation of tenders and quotations
o Follow-up of calls for tender and quotations and securing of contracts
o Ability to communicate, inspire and motivate.
o Proven ability to manage the sales process from plan to close.
o Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
o Excellent time management skills to maximize their ability to achieve objectives.
o Ensure that customers are kept informed of the status of current contracts and that problems are resolved as quickly as possible.
o Product applications and sales development
o Propose and participate in marketing actions such as exhibitions
o Project management in collaboration with the Contract & Logistics Department team.
o Regular site and customer visits (80%)

– Regular reporting to the Sales Director and participation in quarterly meetings in France
– Occasional participation in site work to support the installation team

Targets will be based on the company’s budgeted order intake and on performance criteria that will be discussed each year.

You will report to the Head of Sales based in the London office.

Your profile:

– Technically competent with knowledge that gives you a good understanding of M&E systems.
– Experience in a Data Center environment would be highly appreciated.
With 5 to 10 years’ prior experience in Service/Sales in the Data Center sector or similar
– At ease with commercial negotiations
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Motivated and organized, able to prioritize your workload and agenda – Self-motivated
– In-depth understanding of CRM systems and best practices
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
