Variable ventilation rack load bank

Rentaload present at the Data Center Solution show on March 23 and 24 will present on its stand C17 its new 7kW rack load bank with variable ventilation. This new state-of-the-art product will allow both electrical and thermal tests to be carried out in an optimum manner.

The load inversion inside the bench makes it possible to change the power source (channel A – channel B) without touching the switched on loads. The only load bank in the world to be able to make this option, installers and testers will be able to make power source “switches” (main on backup) by saving the number of rented units.

Other new features, the product now includes a digital display on the bench as well as a remote “touch screen” screen allowing all the measurements to be viewed:

• Air inlet temperature
• Bench outlet temperature
• Voltage, Current, Power
• Delta T° observed
• The power source

Finally, and this product is completely innovative in this respect, the user can enter the desired delta T° for a given electrical load. The bench’s variable ventilation system will achieve the desired temperature release for the most accurate server simulation.

The 7Kw variable ventilation rack load bank is the first product to allow this type of test and this precision.
