Measures taken post-COVID-19 to meet the health challenge and continue to support our customers throughout Europe

mesures post-COVID-19 prises par Rentaload

1. Before periods of confinement in the main European countries, deployment of a continuity plan within Rentaload to:

  • Organize work from home
  • Continue on-site interventions in France but also with interventions in Germany, England and the Netherlands
  • Maintain a small team, with all the necessary health precautions , to:
    1. Carry out preventive maintenance and thus further improve the reliability of our equipment
    2. Upgrade our entire fleet of 100/200/300 kW benches to connected solutions – ( see article “COVID 19: threats or opportunities for Rentaload” )
    3. Develop new accessories to facilitate the implementation of our equipment on site (e.g. new tap-off connection octopuses)

2. Resumption of “normal” activity since mid-May, respecting all anti-COVID hygiene guidelines and implementation of additional measures to protect our employees but also our customers & people likely to handle our equipment:

  • Drafting of a charter of good conduct in the face of COVID-19 recalling good practices both in the workshop and the offices but also during on-site interventions
  • Placing in “quarantine” (4 days min) all load banks returning from customer sites
  • Addition of specific instructions on the handling and use of our equipment (systematic use of gloves) in our user guides
  • Addition of an addendum dedicated to the prevention of risks related to COVD-19 in our PPSPs

3. Strengthening of existing partnerships and rapprochement with new partners to:

  • Support local contacts on their various projects in an even more personalized way
  • Create new logistics chains to increase responsiveness
  • Co-invest in new equipment to strengthen our fleet, including the integration into our fleet of 6 new generation 600 kW benches in partnership with H&N Energien GmbH

4. Standardization of solutions with connected load banks to reduce the number of people involved during the tests:

  • “Upgrade” of the existing fleet now fully connected, up to a total of 10 MW with floor-mounted load banks and up to 3 MW with rack-mounted banks
  • Control of the entire “connected” installation by a SINGLE person during all IST commissioning tests with centralized feedback and recording of measurements
  • … for a gain in time compared to so-called “classic” solutions of the order of 20%.
